Praxis Young Adult Ministry

at Loma Linda University Church

Praxis began in 2015 under the leadership of Pastor Tyler Stewart and an idea that young adults wanted to gather together, grow together spiritually, and in community. As we’ve grown over the past 8 years, we have transitioned from meeting on the top of a parking structure to the LLUC church courtyard, and now to the LLUC Auditorium, as well as a transition in leadership—now under the care of Pastor Filip Milosavljevic and intern pastor, Kelly Lin Dickinson.

We’ve seen growth from a small group of 12 to a large gathering of 300. We’ve had meaningful outreach projects and fun social gatherings and we welcome all far and near. Today, in 2024, we hope to meet you, get to know you better, and walk with you in your spiritual journey. Welcome to Praxis!

Meet the Pastoral Team

Pastor Filip Milosavljevic

Filip is our lead pastor and lover of all things adventurous and fun. He is an enneagram 7w8 and married to the love of his life, Elena. Together, they have 3 kids: Petra, John Filip, and Mila.
Intern Pastor Kelly Lin Dickinson

Kelly is an enneagram 3w2, loves to road cycle, and practice making espresso at home. She is married to the love of her life, Logan, and together, they enjoy watching church livestreams and hanging out with friends.
Summer Intern Pastor Jake Langford

Jake is our summer intern pastor with an emphasis in Worship. He is an enneagram 2w3 and loves basketball, pickleball, off-roading, and Star Wars. We’re so excited to have him on the team!

Ezrica Bennett

Ezrica is an enneagram 4w3 & lover of homemade ice cream. She enjoys learning and meaningful conversations about various topics but especially faith and also enjoys cooking for others.
Derek Glatts

Derek is an enneagram 4, lover of huckleberry ice cream, and on his free time, he enjoys bonsai, astronomy, and mountaineering.

Karl is an enneagram 6, loves mint chocolate chip ice cream, and enjoys travel, camping, time outdoors, board game nights with friends.
Ariana Martinez

Ariana is an enneagram type 9 and loves pistachio & hazelnut gelato. She loves jumping in water, travel, gardening, and is married to the love of her life, Daniel.
Daniel Martinez

Daniel is an enneagram 6, lover of espresso chip ice cream, and enjoys traveling, food, and gardening. He loves his growing family with his wife, Ariana.
Sara Martinez

SABBATH SCHOOL LEAD
Sara is an enneagram 9w1 and lover of mint chocolate chip ice cream. She enjoys biking, hiking, backpacking, travel, cooking, reading, and volleyball.
Gus Moretta

Gus is an enneagram 3w2, lover of anything Ben & Jerries, and enjoys skiing, cooking, music production, and reading. He is married to the love of his life, Madeline.
David Zarka

David is an enneagram 2w3, lover of baseball nut ice cream, and enjoys skiing, camping, and Sabbath school.
